ACT membership is open to anyone who has a connection to Upcountry Tamil of Indian Origin and interested in the improving livelihoods of the Srilankan Tamil community by ACT membership is open to anyone who wants to help us change peoples lives one act at a time. 

It is a single class model to allow any individual to become an ACT member with equal weighting.

Who is eligible for ACT Membership?

The eligibility criteria for applicants applying as an individual are as follows:

  • Primary membership applicants should be 18 years and older.
  • No specific requirement other than a desire to make a difference.

How does the membership application process work?

After you lodge the online registration form and pay the membership fees, you’ll receive an email notification that we’ve received your application. ACT will validate your application based on the registration policy. If the application passes the verification, you will be granted ACT membership and will receive a confirmation email and your name will be added to the active member list. The entire process will be completed within 10 business days. 

Please note, if your registration does not satisfy the ACT registration policy your application will be denied. In the event your application has been denied, a service fee of $10 will be charged to your account and the remaining application fee will be refunded.   

All Membership will be auto renewed based on the membership tier. You can cancel auto-renew, by notifying ACT via email act.actionchangesthings@gmail.com  30 days prior to the renewal date. For further details, please refer to the ACT payment and refund policy.

How do I update my details?

You can update your details by sending an email to act.actionchangesthings@gmail.com.

How do I cancel my membership?

ACT requires members to give written notice to the Board to cancel Membership. Membership can be canceled by sending an email to act.actionchangesthings@gmail.com. Please note membership cancellation can take up to 10 Business days. And email confirmation will be sent once the cancellation request has been processed.
