Another Milestone in the ACT journey was launching ACT Srilanka.
ACT Canada has decided to open a new branch in Srilanka in order to facilitate their Projects in Srilanka. ACT- Srilanka was inaugurated on the 8th of January 2022 at Hotel Oak Ray Summer Hill Breeze, Nuwara-eliya, Srilanka by ACT Canada Secretary Mr.Sathi Ramiah.
The Srilankan expansion is due to the significant Organization role and efforts in keeping pace with the project advancements, screening, organizing events etc., as well as in response to the challenges of student scholarship projects.
It is worth mentioning that ACT Sri Lanka will be managed by the youth talents and focus on the academic education, qualifying professional students for scholarship programs, developing the academic and training materials for underprivileged students. It will also focus on organizing and holding workshops, sports, training courses and specialized conferences in miscellaneous fields, in addition to the Humanitarian projects.
The team further pointed out that ACT- Sri Lanka will further collaborate with a number of entities specialized in humanitarian, social and technological education.
