About Us
- ACT (Action Changes Things) is a not for profit organization registered in Ontario (Canada) bringing people together to help the betterment of humanity.
- ACT was formed in 2019 by a group of like-minded individuals to bring people together and help in the betterment of humanity
- The goal of the organization is to improve the lives of others (independent of race, religion, or political affiliation) in need of one family or individual at a time. Hence, focus on micro-projects to help enhance the lives of those in need.
- ACT aims to empower individuals to improve the quality of life through self-help by assisting in sponsoring tools needed to improve
Our Approach
- We as an organization believe in assisting people in need one at a time.
- Our approach to assistance is to empower individuals to improve lives
- We believe donors should be given an opportunity to choose a project they wish to fund
- Hence, donors will be able to see all pending projects and choose the one that resonates with them.
- Alternatively, donors can fund a capital fund where the board can determine projects to be funded
- Those seeking assistance need to reach out to us and identify their specific needs and help us understand how our help will change their lives.
- ACT members believe in transparency and accountability of funding and is committed to providing financial reports to the Canadian Revenue Agency as well as it’s donors and any stakeholders
Our Vision
- Our vision to empower individuals to improve their quality of life through funding micro-projects identified by the individual or family
- We believe that success relies on empowering individuals to live independently encouraging to build their own sustainable life-improving well-being
- We would like to instill hope in humanity to those who are looking for assistance
- These projects can include and not limited to the initiation of an income, supplementing income, enabling higher education, medical interventions, and many others
- ACT is an organization run by volunteers in Canada and the South East, Asia
- Project funding is channeled through local representatives through a strict screening process
- We envision ACT to be a global organization bringing people together under humanitarian grounds.
